People ask me about my favorite Indian cookbooks.
I use them myself for ideas, inspiration and recipes.
Why this blog?
It is partially to figure out if there is a book in this idea.
Rule of thumb at the moment:
I tell students that first and most importantly they should buy a book that was written for the American audience. My favorite cookbook author is Mathur Jaffrey. Her recipes are easy to follow, well tested and the results are always consistent.
This needs to be an interactive blog.
